HOW TO GET TO SICILY
Our kiteboarding center, Kite Season, is located in the northwest part of Sicily, in the Lo Stagnone lagoon, just 10 km from Trapani Birgi Airport and 100 km from Palermo. We offer complete infrastructure and facilities for kitesurfers, families and those new to the sport. Flat, shallow water and expansive lagoon provide the perfect setting for kitesurfing and kiteboarding lessons.
Lo Stagnone is an unmatched paradise for kitesurfing enthusiasts, especially for those just starting out or looking to improve their skills. Its vast, shallow and calm lagoon, combined with steady winds, offers the ideal and safe environment for both beginners and experienced kitesurfers, allowing them to progress at their own pace.

HOW TO GET TO SICILY - EASILY ACCESSIBLE, BUT HARD TO LEAVE
BY PLANE - TRAPANI AIRPORT : TPS
Trapani Birgi Airport, located just a few kilometers from our kite spot, offers direct flights to several European cities, including London (Stansted), Manchester, Brussels (Charleroi), Düsseldorf (Weeze), Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Katowice, Bratislava, Porto, and many more.
How to get from the airport
- Airport transfers: €6 per person, one way

BY PLANE - PALERMO AIRPORT : PMO
Palermo Airport offers better flight connections than Trapani, but it is located a bit further away.
IT PROVIDES DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM MOST EUROPEAN CAPITALS.
How to get from the airport
- Buses from PMO to TPS airport: €10 (please check bus connections)
- Airport transfers: €90 per car, one way
BY FERRY - TO PALERMO
If you plan to travel by car, you can take ferries from several European ports.
- Livorno – Palermo: Grimaldi Lines
Civitavecchia – Palermo: GNV
Genoa – Palermo: GNV
The ferry trip from Genoa takes approximately 23 hours, from Livorno 16 hours, and from Civitavecchia about 15 hours.
